11/01/2010 - Outland Renewable Energy Secures $8 Million Equity Investment

Outland Renewable Energy (Outland) announced today that its existing majority shareholder, Allco Renewable Energy, has agreed to invest an additional $8 million in Outland. The agreement also provides for an eventual further equity commitment of $22 million. The funds will provide the company with growth capital to execute its strategic plan.

05/25/2010 - Outland Renewable Energy Awarded Contract to Deliver O&M Services for Minwind’s Vestas and NEG Micon Turbines

CANBY, MN – May 25, 2010 – Minwind Energy, LLC (Minwind) has awarded Outland Renewable Energy (Outland) a two-year contract to provide post-warranty operations and maintenance services for Minwind’s Vestas and NEG-Micon turbines in southwest Minnesota. Specifically, Outland will perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Minwind’s seven Vestas V82 1.65 MW turbines and four NEG-Micon 950 kW turbines beginning on June 1, 2010.

05/25/2010 - Outland Renewable Energy Awarded Wind Farm O&M Contract by Xcel Energy

CANBY, MN – May 25, 2010 – Xcel Energy has awarded Outland Renewable Energy a three-year contract to provide operations and maintenance services at Xcel Energy’s 100-megawatt Grand Meadow wind farm in Mower County, Minnesota. The wind farm, developed for Xcel Energy by enXco Development Corp., began commercial operation in December, 2008.
