Outland Renewable Energy (Outland) announced it has been awarded a major contract as a prime vendor of maintenance services for Gamesa, one of the leading wind turbine manufacturers in the world. Outland’s field service division provides oversight and management of wind power facilities through a complete lifecycle.

The contract provides for the operations and maintenance at the 300 Megawatt Cayuga Ridge wind farm located in rural Livingston County, Illinois.

09/08/2009 - Hansen Partners with Outland

Outland Renewable Energy and Hansen Transmissions International announced this week in a meeting at Hansen manufacturing headquarters in Lommel, Belgium that Outland has been selected to be an authorized on-site service provider in North America for Hansen Service Wind.

Outland will form a dedicated team of wind technicians to provide on-site service support for the nearly 6,000 Hansen wind turbine gearboxes located on wind energy farms throughout North America.

The multi-year agreement covers four wind facilities located in the Midwest with total installed capacity of 332 megawatts.

CANBY, Minn. – Outland Renewable Energy, LLC (Outland) announced today that it has established a national training center where all wind turbine technician safety and technical training will be administered. A five year facilities use agreement with Minneapolis based Wind Energy America gives Outland exclusive access to two Gamesa G52 850kW turbines and shop space located at the Midwest Center for Wind Energy (MCWE) which is 25 miles from Outland’s Canby operations office.
